We started seeingsignsof its existence in back in May. But now, the POCO M2 Pro is confirmed and launching soon in India.
ThePOCO M2 Prois the first device in the POCO M series that will join the growing number of different POCO categories that also consists of the POCO F and X series.
Going back, the device’s existence was confirmed when POCO India’s official Twitter page revealed that it’s going to officially unveil the M2 Pro onJuly 7 at 12 PM(IST).
No other information was given about the device. However, the teasers they posted hints a design that’s similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
In fact, previous leaks and rumors suggest that the M2 Pro is indeed going to be a rebranded version of theRedmi Note 9 Pro Global version. That’s the same version that we got here in the Philippines, and is different from theNote 9 that came out in Indiaback in March.
With that, we expect the POCO M2 Pro to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, 5,020mAh battery, 30W fast charging, and a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 16-megapixel selfie camera peeking from a punch-hole.

We have four cameras on the back that consists of a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
